Bobbi Moody, CPM Vice President of Management
As the Vice President of Management, Bobbi Moody is responsible for all property operations of the Insula portfolio. Supported by a team of regional and local property managers, she coordinates management policies and procedures and oversees the performance of all of the assets.
Ms. Moody has over 25 years of property management experience and has spent her career with some of the most distinguished names in the industry. A specialist in the Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Orlando markets, she has served in positions at every level.
Ms. Moody holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and has subsequently earned many industry certifications, including: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM); Community Association Manager (CAM); Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS); and the most esteemed industry designation: Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM)®.
Eric Sangster, CAM, CAPS and HCCP
Regional Manager
As a Regional Manager at Insula Companies, Eric Sangster oversees a conventional portfolio of communities in the Orlando, Central Florida, Market. Eric works with his team to motivate and maximize leasing and marketing efforts as well as monitor the operating efficiency and financial budgeting to enchnace the bottom line for each property.
Eric
has 10 years of experience in Property Management and is dedicated
to achieving profitability and prides himself on delivering
outstanding customer service. He has managed many different types
of assets ranging from, RD, HUD, Tax Credit, Conventional, Senior,
Family and communities that cater to individuals with Intellectual
and Developmental Disabilities. Eric also comes with much
experience in new construction lease-ups and Acquisition
rehabs.
Eric has earned his credentials as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Eric won Regional Manager of the year in his past company for 2015. He is also a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando
Kimberly M. Henderson, Esq. General
Counsel
With over 25 years of legal and real estate title experience, Ms. Henderson is responsible for determining and implementing policy and providing legal support services in matters of risk management, regulatory compliance, acquisition, financing, and development.
Ms. Henderson holds a bachelors degree in political science from University of South Florida and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, and has been working in the real estate industry since 1993 and holds both a Florida Title Agent’s license and a Florida Real Estate Brokererage license. Prior to joining Insula Companies, she served as a real estate development associate with the law offices of Broad and Cassel, and was employed by Attorneys; Title Insurance Fund, Inc.
Angie Steere, Director of
Finance
As the Director of Finance of Insula Companies, Angie Steere oversees the finance, accounting and human resources operations. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting systems and cash management to ensure the complete and accurate recording of the financial transactions and processing of funds. As part of the senior management team, she helps guide the organization’s operations and strategy.
Ms.
Steere has over 15 years of experience in providing professional
services in the financial, accounting and economic industries. She
possesses an extensive range of proficiency in banking,
investments, budgeting and financial reporting. Prior to joining
Insula Companies, Ms. Steere held a key accounting position working
for the United States Air Force.
Ms.
Steere earned a bachelors degree in accounting in her home country
of Colombia. Additionally, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from
Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration and Finance.
Davida K. Hurst, CAM, Director of
Corporate Services
Ms. Hurst is responsible for assisting in due diligence associated with both Acquisitions and dispositions as well as administrative and office support. With over 20 years in property management, Ms. Hurst has been involved in many aspects within the industry, including contract negotiations, website development, marketing, investor communications, and apartment community management.
Brian W. Fortney, MCP, Director of
MIS
With over 16 years in the IT industry and over 10 years in multi-family property management, he is responsible for the information technology department at Insula Companies. Mr. Fortney began his IT career on the computer support and network integration team with a renowned IT support and service firm based out of Sarasota, Florida. He later transitioned to a network administrator position with a leading Florida-based software development company wherein he specialized in web-based GUI integration with SAP. Mr. Fortney holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Florida. In addition to graduating cum laude with a degree in Computer Information Systems Analysis, Mr. Fortney is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Certified Office Systems Specialist, and has received a certificate in underwriting from the Mortgage University.
